I asked my mother what she thinks makes something whole
And she said it depends on if it’s food or love
But aren’t they the same thing
When you break it apart
You’re taking about
Taking separate halves and making wonders

Oh oh oh
I’ll be your olive oil if you’ll be my vinegar
We’ll make a salad so well dressed
We’ll add tomatoes maybe onions
Then we will dine the whole night through
I’m always better when I’m with you

When we wake up and I am met with navy blue
And the smell of coffee whispers through the hall
Can’t I have it all
I feel so lucky with what we share
And I think of all the breakfasts we’ll have
I’ll be the butter to your bread

Oh oh oh
I’ll be your olive oil if you’ll be my vinegar
We’ll make a salad so well dressed
We’ll add tomatoes maybe onions
Then we will dine the whole night through
I’m always better when I’m with you

Whistle

I’m always better when I’m with you
